This is the portfolio I created from my courses at California State University, Dominguez Hills. All items in this portfolio show my personal competence with technology in higher education, as specifically detailed in the Technology Facilitation Standards of the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE). Through my Master of Arts degree program, I gained expertise in integrating technology to enhance teaching and learning, designing effective digital learning environments, and implementing innovative instructional strategies. The projects and assignments in this portfolio illustrate my proficiency in utilizing educational technologies to support student engagement, improve instructional practices, and foster a collaborative learning culture. Each piece reflects my commitment to staying current with emerging technologies and my ability to apply them effectively in higher education settings.
Designed using a cohort model, the program culminated at DET/CHE 2024. As a participant, I completed the program by attending monthly online presentations and discussions led by California Higher Education leaders, which focused on the challenges, successes, skills, and issues faced by today’s ed-tech leaders. These presentations took place from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. second Friday of each month through the year. I completed monthly reflections and concluded the program with a final project centered around leadership presentation reflections in higher education.
